Vendor Tax Information California Tax Information Vendors at Glamourcon's in California must have a vaild Sellers Permit (or Temporary Sellers Permit). To vendors who have received a confirmation and don't have a California Tax Number: We need your tax number before you can sell at the show. The State of California is VERY diligent about this. To get the form you need to sell at Glamourcon online, simply: go to the web site which is www.boe.ca.gov click on Sales and Use Tax on the left side of the page click on Register for Sellers Permit under Common Procedures Download Form BOE 400 SPA, which can be used to get a Temporary Sellers Permit Application Please contact us with any questions. Chicago Tax Information CHICAGO TAX REQUIREMENTS These rules apply regardless of amount of money earned or length of time in the State of Illinois 1) If you sell ONLY your signatures and NO merchandise you bring to or obtain in Illinois, then you need to file nothing. 2) If you sell anything tangible you bring in or obtain there (such as merchandise you bring), you MUST file a REG-1 Form available simply by calling 1 800 356-6302. Examples: A celebrity brings nothing into the State and gets nothing from Playboy or other vendor to sell ... then they file nothing. A celebrity simply signs his/her name to merchandise a fan provides ... then they file nothing. A Playmate gets pictures from Playboy to sign and sell ...then she must have applied for a REG-1.
